Sid & Katie entered a competition via my Facebook Page for an Engagement Shoot. Surprised & thrilled that they’d won, we travelled to Lake Wainamu at Bethells Beach in Auckland.
Sid a mechanic, & Katie a student met through friends & fell head over heels for each other & have been inseparable since.
After our short walk through the forest, to the top of the sand dunes we’d found the perfect spot for our shoot, where the sunset met the sand & the mist from the ocean nearby created a beautiful glow. Despite telling me they’ve never had photos taken together & were super nervous at what to expect from their shoot, Sid & Katie seemed completely at ease in front of the camera & we had such a great time making these images to celebrate their engagement – & for Katie to send back to family in her native Germany.
I can only imagine when the time comes to set your wedding date & your loved ones come together to celebrate your love,that your day will be just as love filled & stunning as it was the day of this shoot. Enjoy x
